candy vending business

Topic: Candy Vending Business

( How sweet it is! )

The candy vending business was very profitable for my wife and I.

We started with soda/snack machines and eventually expanded into almost every area of vending possible. The candy vending business presented its own set of challenges. Each location we secured would bring hope of a "jackpot" of quarters. We learned that you need a large selection of products as the preference varies greatly between locations. We constantly tracked the sales for each product and tried to find a mix that was right for each location. On some location we would have multiple rows or heads of the same product. Anytime we walked into a location and a product was sold out we would double up on it. It amazing how many operators in the candy vending business doesn’t bother to track their sales. They simply fill up their machines with the same product in all locations. Most candy vending business operators don't realize the money they are losing. They could easily triple their sales.

The candy vending business can be lucrative if you don't overpay for machines, find good locations and track your locations preferences.

Rob,
I like the way you lay things out and I am seriously considering vending as a business, possibly a laundromat too if I am able. As far as your site, the quick response, follow up emails and thank yous are well appreciated from a customer's standpoint.

Take care,
