Topic: Candy Vending Machine

( Bigger isn't always better )

Owning a candy vending machine seems like the perfect business. The people trying to sell you candy vending machine packages will tell you how this business will almost run itself. Wrong, like anything it takes time and dedication to build a business (Surprise, surprise).

Of course, there are many advantages to starting a candy vending machine business. We found it easier to place candy machines than it was to place soda or coffee machines. Most locations did not require a lot of maintenance so our route schedule was fairly flexible.

Keeping the machines out of the sunlight also saved us some maintenance headaches. Yes, there will be vandalism and damage, and yes there really are locations that do very little in sales and you need to relocate them. All in all, if you start out right and don't overpay for candy vending machines this is a good way to build a profitable business. The price you pay for each candy machine will determine your long term profitability. For this reason I would suggest you stay away from the brand new candy vending machine "package" deals.

Also, two different individuals wanting to sell their routes at close to what they paid for them and not making much money.
I'm grateful I got your information.

Make sure that a location is aware you want to be their vending solution. We once walked into a snack/pop location we had serviced for years only to find a full size coffee machine right beside our equipment. When we asked why they didn't ask us to put a full size coffee machine in, they said, "Oh!, we didn't know you do coffee too!". (A costly mistake for us)
