candy vending machine

Topic: Candy Vending Machine

( Bigger isn't always better )

Owning a candy vending machine seems like the perfect business. The people trying to sell you candy vending machine packages will tell you how this business will almost run itself. Wrong, like anything it takes time and dedication to build a business (Surprise, surprise).

Of course, there are many advantages to starting a candy vending machine business. We found it easier to place candy machines than it was to place soda or coffee machines. Most locations did not require a lot of maintenance so our route schedule was fairly flexible.

Keeping the machines out of the sunlight also saved us some maintenance headaches. Yes, there will be vandalism and damage, and yes there really are locations that do very little in sales and you need to relocate them. All in all, if you start out right and don't overpay for candy vending machines this is a good way to build a profitable business. The price you pay for each candy machine will determine your long term profitability. For this reason I would suggest you stay away from the brand new candy vending machine "package" deals.

Dear Rob,
Thank you for keeping me from being a shark victim. I went to one of those BizOp shows put on by (!#$#$#$!!#^%@^). I almost bought into the hype, until I did some research before adding to my mortgage or maxxing out the credit cards. I came across your website and Small Change. Great eye opening reading, $20 isn't so much to save 10, 20, or 30 thousand dollars. I'm still interested in vending but I think I'll skip the BizOp and use Small Change as my Bible for the vending business.

Again thank you for the great information.

Try to find people who can approve multiple locations when trying to place machines. Property management companies might respresent many apartment complexes. Some business owners have multiple locations. With one "yes" you can secure multiple profit centers.
