food vending machines

Topic: Food Vending Machines

( And today's special will be..... )

We did have food vending machines in our operation. In most cases we would place a few microwaves in the lunchroom and then install a sandwich/food machine.

In my opinion, these machines never made us money. They require a careful eye on the product expiry dates and the spoilage is higher than most types of vending. The selection of product was also very limited in our area. So why did we get into food vending? Simple! Many of the best volume locations demanded that we offer food vending for them. Many of our competitors wouldn't offer food machines and therefore couldn't get in the door. We would install our food vending machine and microwaves and put up with the extra work because these were usually the highest volume accounts. We would make a huge profit on the big volume from the pop/snack/coffee/bottled water machines. We always considered the food vending machine as a cost of doing business.

Without offering these locations food vending machines we would never been able to obtain them.

Hi Rob,
I read your entire eBook & found it invaluable. You probably saved me about $35k that I was considering spending with (company name witheld). I know a woman who spent a ton of money on vending machines that are sitting in her garage. I feel bad for her & told her to get your ebook.
I think I will take your advice & start off slow and build my profits without going into debt. Then decide if I can grow the business from there. Thanks again, its the best $20 I've ever spent. To all those thinking about entering the field of vending, please do yourself a big favor: buy & read this document. You will be glad you did, I guarantee that. You will probably even say to yourself " thank God I read this eBook before I signed on the dotted line!", which is exactly what I told my wife.
Thanks again,

Jim R..(email on file)

Don't limit your snack machines products to just snacks!

We did well with putting "other" products in based on taking a broader look at the location. For example, toothbrushes (hotel), laundry soap (trucking company), baseball cards (apartment complex), and other personal toiletries. Be creative!
