We purchased a large vending route that included a location with an older French fry vending machine.
The machine actually vended a pretty tasty French fry, but the maintenance and headaches far exceed any financial gain. It used oil and caught on fire occasionally. During the biggest fire the janitor had the good sense to unplug the machine when he saw black smoke coming out the back.
I understand that there are newer French fry vending machines but I suggest you proceed with great caution. And stay clear of the old French fry vending machines!

Two Birds With One Stone!
Try to find people who can approve multiple locations when trying to place machines. Property management companies might respresent many apartment complexes. Some business owners have multiple locations. With one "yes" you can secure multiple profit centers.
