How to start a vending machine business?

Here's the WRONG way to start.
- Answer an ad in a business opportunity magazine, watch a glossy videotape or attend a vending business opportunity seminar.
- Listen to slick salespersons hype on and on about making money while golfing or sleeping.
- Be complimented that the business opportunity guys have chosen you for a limited "marketing territory".
-Gladly overpay too much money for a few average vending machines without doing any sort of comparison shopping.
- Go into big debt before learning anything about actually operating a vending machine business.
- Take every word the vending business opportunity salesperson says as gospel and don't question anything.
- Get VERY disappointed in a few weeks and desperately try to sell your machines to cut your losses.
- Tell everyone you know that there is no money in the vending business.

Unfortunately, this is what most new vendors do.

We started out the wrong way. If we only knew then what we know now we could have become profitable quicker. We learned how to start a vending business long after we were in it. Learn the business. Learn from others mistakes. Start small and grow. That's how to start a vending machine business.

Hi Uncle Rob!
I wanted to let you know I really enjoyed the information in your book. It was very helpful and easy to understand. I am just getting into vending and I almost bought one those "business opportunities" the only reason I didn't is because I refused to go into debt for something I did not have to. They would not sell me one machine they wanted to sell me at least 10 "so I would be profitable."
Ha!
Its not profitable or smart to pay high interest rates.
The resources you gave where very helpful and I really appreciate you sharing your experience with me. I love to learn from other peoples mistakes so I can make new and inventive mistakes of my own :-) lol
Any way I just wanted to tell you I did not have any problems downloading and reading your information. It was easy and it was great!
Thanks Again,
Jenny ..(email on file)
