Table top vending machines have become very popular in the past few years. Whether they are mechanical 5-7 or 11 selection snack or other type of machines.
The majority of these table top vending machines are promoted through glossy "bizop" seminars or exhibits were you are lured by the profit potential than the actual vending machines. We bought close to 100 used table top vending machines
over the years and they made us money.
We paid VERY little for these machines. Table top vending machines have a problem. It is easy to steal from these machines because of the simple coin mechanism. We have taken washers, round cardboard and stir sticks out of the coin collection trays. That's all it takes to steal your product.
I once read a promotional flyer for these machines that made me chuckle. It stated, "these machines don't require power and can keep working even if the power goes out." How many power outages does a location have a year? Who is going to buy a snack if all the lights are out?
Table top vending machines can be an inexpensive way to start out your vending business as long as the price for them is relative to their quality (i.e., really cheap).
Please don't buy a "vending package" that includes overpriced table top vending machines, educate yourself first.

Testimonial
Rob,
I like the way you lay things out and I am
seriously considering vending as a business, possibly a laundromat too if
I am able. As far as your site, the quick response, follow up emails and
thank yous are well appreciated from a customer's standpoint.
Take care,
Rick Lowe

Keep In Touch
Make sure that a location is aware you want to be their vending solution. We once walked into a snack/pop location we had serviced for years only to find a full size coffee machine right beside our equipment. When we asked why they didn't ask us to put a full size coffee machine in, they said, "Oh!, we didn't know you do coffee too!". (A costly mistake for us)
