"Vending Business For Sale"
You will see these ads in newspapers and supplier bulletin boards. Buying an established vending machine route can be a fabulous way to get profitable quickly in vending. But there can be some major pitfalls if you aren't careful.
If you find an established money making route being sold by an honest vendor who is looking to cash out, and you can buy it at less than one year’s net income, and the seller will hold some financing, Bingo!
However, if you are buying an established route from someone with bad locations (or about to lose some) who paid too much for his machines and is barely breaking even, you are just buying their problem. It is important to understand all the aspects of the vending business before you make an offer. Commission, maintenance, repairs, taxes, transportation, moving machines, upgrading machines and loss of locations from business closures, competition and moving must all be taken into account.
Buying a vending machine route at a great price is a terrific way to get right into the heart of the vending industry. You need to find out the real reason the vendor has his vending business for sale

I purchased your information this past Sunday and can't thank you for saving me Thousands of dollars in a misguided effort to start a vending business. I recognized a locating service here locally that wanted to sell me a route with 60 gum ball machines. Some of these units had three heads on a stand and he charged a finders fee for each unit. Also, two different individuals wanting to sell their routes at close to what they paid for them and not making much money. I'm grateful I got your information.
Your best information was to buy the income of a route and (&^%$^&%$^%$). Again thanks as I now understand how to start this business without feeling ripped off!

Keep In Touch
Make sure that a location is aware you want to be their vending solution. We once walked into a snack/pop location we had serviced for years only to find a full size coffee machine right beside our equipment. When we asked why they didn't ask us to put a full size coffee machine in, they said, "Oh!, we didn't know you do coffee too!". (A costly mistake for us)
