Vending machines are not the most important part of starting up a vending business.
We started the wrong way by focusing on the machines. We overpaid for our first five machines and it almost cost us our business. Your business skills, knowledge of the vending industry, and ability to find and secure good locations are much more important than the type of machine you buy.
Paying much too much for vending machines can be your last mistake in the vending business.

Make sure that a location is aware you want to be their vending solution. We once walked into a snack/pop location we had serviced for years only to find a full size coffee machine right beside our equipment. When we asked why they didn't ask us to put a full size coffee machine in, they said, "Oh!, we didn't know you do coffee too!". (A costly mistake for us)
