My brief list of vending pitfalls.
The first is the simplest. Many new vendors get all hyped up and pay exorbitant prices for their initial machines from a slick business opportunity seminar. This mistake is usually fatal.
Other pitfalls include expanding to fast, not keeping in good communication with your locations, not paying commissions on time and not maintaining your equipment in good working order. Any one of these will cost you money.
There is a smart, painless way to start and grow your new vending business and avoid the vending pitfalls.

My wife and I definitely think we received much more than $20 worth of advice. You probably saved us more like $10000. We attended a biz-op expo and were quite excited by one opportunity by an apparently well-known company (with a claimed 4000 "distributors"). Try to find people who can approve multiple locations when trying to place machines. Property management companies might respresent many apartment complexes. Some business owners have multiple locations. With one "yes" you can secure multiple profit centers.
